Sign rule: positive times positive = positive, negative times negative = positive, positive times negative = negative! For example, (-4) x (-3) = 12.
(-15) / 3 = -5 — different signs, so the result is negative.
(-20) / (-4) = 5 — same signs, so the result is positive.
Activity: Try multiplying and dividing a few pairs of negative integers, and notice the sign rule.
